Corrections and suggestions

• Add ability to include pictures in the comments (Jeff)
  • " If Bjorn would ever upgrade this website I would include a picture."
• Add vote for restaurant to go to afterwards (?)
• Add ability to send email to one or more persons on the list (Bjørn)
  • Could be through a separate column containing an "action"-button. Select one or more, and then one can either send email to those selected or have some other action (like listing their phone numbers?)
• Add sattelite image of area (John Ballent)
  • So that people can see if it is actually raining or not, to account for those who are too lazy to update their information if they decide not to come after all because of rain. weather.com actually has a radar map showing precipitation, but it is hard to extract since it uses javascript.
• Add "snitch" functionality to report people who didn't show (Bjørn)
  • People who gets reported will get a "NoShow" column, an incentive for putting in true information

The following has been done:

• Add login so user can change information by clicking his/her name (Anita)
  • Shouldn't be too hard, need to add a table for passwords and use cookies for session? A crude implementation is in place.
• Add poll for day to play on (Bjørn)
• Add emailing of passwords for users who forgot theirs (Bjørn)
• Add email notification for when someone updates their information (Bjørn)
  • Part of attributes. User must click on checkbox to enable it.
• Automation
  • preparations for next week like updating dates and sending email notifications and reminders now happens automatically. Initial notification goes out on Friday afternoons, while reminders go out on Tuesday mornings.
• Add weather forecast (John Ballent)
  • Extracting data from weather.com, about 6 times per day.
• Add sort by either column (John Ballent)
  • You can now sort the output by clicking on the headers of the columns.
• Add messages (Bjørn)
  • The default window could display the last 3 or so messages posted, while registered users can go to a message page to review all messages that have been posted along with posting messages themselves. Shouldn't be too hard once the login facility is in place.
• Add number-of-days-since-last-registration (Bjørn)
  • So we can see who are regulars and who are not.
• Add a bulletin board for lost items and other messages (Anita)
• Add a login facility (Bjørn)
  • Then we could list limited information for "outsiders", while "insiders" (registered users) can see all information that each user wants to volunteer to other users, like email address, telephone numbers etc. This would tie nicely into the emailing and other items.
